Bradley!

Wow, did anyone pick Bradley to go to the Final Four? What a balanced team.
I'm in for the day now, after doing a little yard work, having perhaps broken my thumb with a sledge hammer. Nothing like getting out there early in the gardening season and getting the injuries out of the way quickly. On the upside, it's a good reason to start self medicating immediately.

Unfortunately, I get to watch Uconn/KY; no one to root for in that one.

Steam,

Now I know you don't read my picks posts. Nobody picked Bradley to even get this far. Nobody. They looked great, and made a pretty good Pitt team look terrible. I could easily see them getting to the regional final, and maybe even winning it.

You don't have a good game to watch. Out here, we've got George Mason vs. UNC. Ordinarily, that would be ok. UNC is already winning by 13 and there are still 14 minutes left in the first half. Yawn.

We have Memphis / Bucknell. Good game. Yeah, Bradley looked awesome! No fluke there, they really played the game they wanted to play.

But, what I want to know is what kind of gardening requires a sledgehammer? Maggi, maybe you should take a moment and check the flowerbeds...

Oh, speaking of picks...George Mason!
And that was me with the big hammer, Mickey. I was breaking up chunks of concrete to make a border for Mrs. Backs' herb garden. You ought to see the bird bath I made out of a garbage can lid.
